Kenneth M. Davis
Gallery Curator; is a Tuskegee University Alumni. He is a young rising curator with over four years of increasing museum experience with the National Park Service, Tuskegee University and Birmingham Civil Rights Institute.
He has performed a full range of curatorial duties, including exhibition scheduling, design, installation, maintenance and record keeping. Throughout his museum career, Kenneth M. Davis has had the opportunity to work with diverse collections consisting of historic objects, fine art, archival and natural history.
Kenneth M. Davis’s experience related to exhibit preparation and installation includes budgeting, research, determining exhibit layouts, use of pedestals and special exhibit mounting techniques and preparing text and labels. Kenneth has been a member of the African American Association of Museum for over three years. In addition to his B.A. from Tuskegee, Davis has studied Jazz Piano at University of Louisville (Jamey Aebersold Summer Jazz Camp).
He has been trained in museum collections management at the Smithsonian Center for Education and Museum Studies, Washington DC.
